WebAug 4, 2014 · Liquid Propane has about 85,000 - 90,000 BTUs per gallon. So, you can expect Propane to burn about 20% shorter, or roughly, 6 gallons of LP to 5 gallons of Gasoline. So figure out how many gallons your LP tank is filled to, and you can convert it based on the rated run time of the genny in gasoline time. (roughly of course) YMMV. L.

It runs fine but recently it has started burning through oil like crazy. I have to add oil about every 5 days. It is used daily for about 12 hours.
