WebGillian Parke is a ceramic artist working out of her Durham, North Carolina studio. Her current work combines elements of manufactured porcelain and handmade Japanese Shigaraki stoneware with feldspar inclusions. The resulting surfaces are achieved through a combination of an unpredictable atmospheric gas firing and reliable electric firing.
