There is an excellent two person biv up the East Hawdon River valley, it makes for a nice overnight trip but take a tent in case the hut is full. A tent might be a better option, and there are several very good camping spots on the river terrace and amongst the trees. Our visit was on a fine Saturday night, and no-one else was at the spot.
