Heavy Gear is the only mecha game I've been interested in, despite the anime aesthetics, which I loathe. And it would be a good system to implement the idea. OTOH, I own the cthulhutech PDF, skimmed it, and found it very shiny, too fluffy and little on the way of a horror game. Have to read it cover to cover, though.
