He used a ProGlas 2:1 epoxy laminating resin kit with 4 ounce fiberglass cloth. He said that the wood on the boat was too nice to paint. We agree! This boat looks brand new. Thank you for sharing Terry! It turned out beautiful. WebDec 23, 2011 · Normally the boat will be kept dry stored at a marina, but I didn't want to do damage by leaving it in the water for too long, also the creek is tidal with a muddy bottom so I guess the boat will be partly resting on the bottom a few hours each day.
